The gorgeous, white-washed courtyard which housed the stables from the historic linen house, Hilden House is now a beautiful and unique wedding venue located 15 minutes from Belfast; 20 minutes from Belfast City Airport and 30 minutes from Belfast International Airport.
Spoilt for choice, wedding couples can choose to have their wedding ceremony on site in the courtyard, in the Stables for more bijou wedding parties of up to 60; in the Malt Store, which can seat up to 110; or in the Tipis located in the garden behind the Stables. The Malt Store is a bright, light, spacious room on the first floor of the Stables and is perfect for an intimate wedding reception. The Tipis can seat up to 180 for a more relaxed inside/outside experience, perfect when coupled with a delicious BBQ. The Tipis are available from April to September so that each bride and groom and their guests can enjoy the best of the summer sun.
The five-acre estate hosts a one wedding per day policy with the couple having exclusive use of the entire site. There are lovely areas around the grounds that are perfect for your wedding photos, so you don’t have to stray too far or too long from your guests. Guests will be able to choose from an eighttap bar, all serving thirst-quenching craft beer from the venue’s own brewery and other local breweries. There is also a sumptuous wine list to choose from for those who prefer wine. In addition, every wedding has a fully stocked bar and coffee barista, so everyone’s needs are catered for.
