True Love Tuesday: Erin and Ciaran

‘The One’ by Kodaline was the song chosen by Erin and Ciaran for their first dance as husband and wife however it had taken more than one year to plan their stunning wedding, eleven years after they first met! Erin and Ciaran first met at work when they were both students and shared lunch every Saturday for two years before they went on their first official date and nine years later after moving into their new home together Ciaran proposed to Erin with a stunning three stone engagement ring followed with a luxury break at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa.

Erin and Ciaran set their wedding day for 30^th September 2016 and the planning started with booking Cabra Castle for their wedding reception venue. Erin travelled to Perfect day in Lurgan where she fell in love with the second wedding dress she tried on, Erin says, I knew right away it was the one. I just looked exactly how I imagined I would and the added bonus was it had pockets!’ Erin’s bridesmaids Julie, Lynne and Grace also found their dresses at Perfect Day.

Ciaran and his groomsmen Liam, Owen and Niall got their suits and accessories form Bogart, Belfast.

Erin and Ciaran had a floral theme for their ‘down South’ wedding with fresh flowers on their wedding cake and exquisite bouquets by Fleuriste. All one hundered and seventy guests were treated to a cheese board on arrival at Cabra Castle and lots of fun features were present including selfie sticks, persoanlised shot glasses and a ‘pimp your prosecco’ table!

The newly weds honeymooned in South Africa, Mauritius and Dubai and their tip for future brides and grooms is ‘Try to be as organized as possible at the beginning to avoid lots of stress in the final few weeks! Take a few moments during the day for just the two of you, just to take it all in and appreciate everything!’.
