Caoimhe Sweeney a nurse from Belcoo, Co Fermanagh met Conall Jones from Derrygonnelly at school as kids, where young love blossomed across the classroom.
Their friendship and love grew over the years until finally after 12 years they said “I do!” but first a proposal had to take place, after a few failed attempts due to Covid the proposal finally happened on their 11th anniversary while out on their Sunday stroll, Conall presented Caoimhe with a beautiful solitaire ring from Cahoons in Cookstown.

Caoimhe found her perfect dress in Ivy & White in Belfast, it was only the second bridal shop she visited when she fell in love with her dress. Dresses for Bridesmaids and sisters in law Sarah Sweeney and Maeve Jones came from Revolve.
Suits for Conall and his groomsmen brothers Ryan and Garvan Jones came from Red Groomswear in Belfast.

Caoimhe said the best part of planning their big day was visiting all of the gorgeous venues and of course dress shopping. The most stressful part was worrying about the weather.

A date was booked for 3rd December 2022 in Belcoo Chapel, followed by a reception for 180 people at Castle Leslie Estate in Monaghan.

The day couldn’t have gone any better, it was just perfect in every way, they even blew their budget but when it comes to your special day you don’t mind too much.
A highlight of the day was “having all of my favourite people under the same roof and having our vision come alive” Caoimhe and Conall told us. That also said that they wouldn’t do anything differently, even the song for their first dance was perfect, literally ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran.

Before heading of on honeymoon to the Caribbean they gave this advice for other couples planning their big day “Enjoy every second of it and don’t stress the small things”
Caoimhe and Conall are loving married life and are very much looking forward to their future together.
