An Enchanted Elopement: Breanna & Jordan’s Fairytale Wedding at Belle Isle Castle
For American couple Breanna Feight and Jordan Faison, a magical wedding in the Irish countryside wasn’t just a dream—it was the start of their next great adventure. The Kansas-based nurse and Pennsylvania-born electrical engineer met during COVID lockdowns and had their first real date at home, proving that love can bloom even in the most unexpected circumstances.
Two years later, during a quiet morning in the woods of Ketchikan, Alaska, Jordan got down on one knee and proposed. With the misty trees as witnesses and a vintage-inspired solitaire diamond ring in hand, Breanna said yes.
The couple exchanged vows on 24th October 2024 in the Red Room of Belle Isle Castle, surrounded by just 30 of their closest family and friends. “We’re huge fans of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, so the castle itself felt like our theme—it had that enchanting, cinematic energy,” said Breanna.
Their wedding was beautifully simple and intimate. With no bridal party or groomsmen, the focus remained on their love story. Breanna found her gown off the rack at a local boutique, while Jordan’s suit was ordered online from Hockerty, paired with a handcrafted tie from Belfast Bow Company.
The Belle Isle team helped curate every detail, making planning from abroad stress-free. From pizza by the fire the night before to board games and laughter after dinner, the entire celebration felt deeply personal.
A highlight? Their outdoor pre-ceremony photos, taken in cozy cloaks that added a whimsical touch. “Those ended up being some of our favorite shots,” they shared.
Their first dance was to Irish Eyes by Rose Betts, the very song that first connected them. After a mini-honeymoon exploring Belfast, the Giant’s Causeway, and Dublin, Breanna and Jordan are back in the States, enjoying married life—and preparing to welcome their first baby girl.
“Don’t overthink it,” says Breanna. “Less is more. Focus on what matters most to you both—and remember to have fun. It’s your celebration.”
