True Love Tuesday Laura and Conor Lynch... - Getting Married in Northern Ireland Magazine

After meeting on a night out in a local town 8 years ago Laura and Conor fell in love and moved to Australia. The couple decided not to travel home one Christmas and instead decided to stay in Australia and travelled to the coast. On Christmas morning when spending the morning on the beach Conor surprised Laura by getting down on one knee and proposing with a beautiful three stone diamond ring from Michael Hill in Australia.

Deciding on a spring wedding date and wanting a bank holiday weekend Laura and Conor settled on 29th April 2022. Getting married in St Joseph’s Chapel in Ederney, Laura in a stunning dress from Off The Peg in Omagh supported by friends Eimear and Emma along with cousin Tia in gorgeous dresses from Folkster in Dublin, helping out were very cute flowergirls in dresses fit for a Princess from Monsoon. Conor and his groomsmen, brothers Darren and Oisin along with friend David wearing suits from Freddie Hatchet in Cookstown. The chapel was filled with love and flowers for the happy couple, the guests were able to enjoy ice cream and coffee outside the chapel while photos were being taken. Some stunning photos were taken in some beautiful locations with the sun has a back drop, making the scenery pop and the huge smiles stand out.

The reception was held in Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo were the couple and all of their 180 guests had an amazing day agreeing that “everything fell into place”. The day went without a hitch, the guests all enjoyed themselves and ended up partying into the small hours with music provided by Rockhill Ramblers, Laura and Conor had their first dance to ‘Beautiful Crazy’ by Luke Combs enjoying being in their romantic bubble in front of their bespoke Mr & Mrs Lynch light-up sign.

Laura and Conor both agreed that they wouldn’t change a thing and had “the best day in the most amazing weather surrounded by family and friends” the best advice they can give to other couples is to “plan early and just enjoy the lead up on the last few days”
After a minimoon in Vilamoura in Portugal they have settled back home and said it is “like nothing has changed”
