True Love Tuesday: Alison & Christopher at Galgorm Resort

Good evening brides-to-be and a warm welcome to September. We hope you’ve all had a chance to pick up a copy of our latest issue – the biggest ever in the magazines 30 years! Yes, we worked very hard on it and do hope it’s inspiring and guiding you on your wedding planning journey.

Our couple today are Alison and Christopher, who first met over four years ago on a night out in Belfast. Three years into their relationship Christopher chose the dramatic backdrop of the White Rocks beach in Portrush to pop a very special question, and their wedding planning journey soon began.

Dreaming of a relaxed day with their closest family and friends, Alison and Christopher were married in Macosquin Presbyterian Church, Coleraine and held their reception at the Galgorm Resort and Spa.

“We wanted a vintage style day with emphasis on the flowers which toned in beautifully with the dusky pink bridesmaids dresses. Music is important to me so it played a big part throughout the day,” said Alison.

“Our day was brilliant and full of lovely memories but our highlights were the wedding ceremony, spending time with family and friends and making it through the first dance perfectly – it was the first time without mistakes! We did have a few mishaps though, I was late to the ceremony as the cars got lost and the night before the wedding the lock broke on the room with all the dresses inside, my dad had to break in!” added Alison.
