True Love Tuesday: Sarah and Eddie

And six years later they later were Mr & Mrs Fay!

Sarah and Eddie met in 2009 amidst festive celebrations and several years later got engaged when Eddie proposed to Sarah by literally offering himself on a plate! Eddie had pre arrange the proposal which happened during a romantic stay at the Manor Country House hotel by asking the chef to write the proposal on Sarah’s dessert plate and presenting her with a stunning diamond ring from D&K The Jewellers.

The couple chose the date of 9^th July to get married and then decided on a reception venue and theme to start their wedding preparations… They chose the Greenvale hotel in Cookstown and opted for a vintage/rustic theme which incorporated tweed for the guys, hand tied bouquets for the girls and the venue was dressed with jam jar floral arrangements and hessian chair covers.

Sarah and her bridal party of her sisters Claire and Grace, her niece Laoise and friend Jessica visited Creative ideas in Cookstown where they had a very enjoyable experience choosing their dresses.

The groom and his groomsmen chose Tux & Tails in Dungannon for their suits.

Sarah woke to very her rain on the morning of her wedding but by the time she was due to leave to go to the chapel for the ceremony the sun was shinning and in fact it was to be one of the warmest days of the year! After the ceremony the wedding travelled to Lissan house to have their photographs taken then they travelled onto the Greenvale Hotel for the reception. The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife to the tune of ‘How long will I love you’ by Ellie Goulding. After the wedding celebrations the couple travelled to New York and Mexico and their top tip to future brides and grooms is ‘don’t stress and relax’.
