Such a glorious evening, we hope you’re getting to enjoy it. Tonight’s wedding by Simon at Ciaran O’Neill Photography in Lurgan has a beautiful relaxed and rustic feel that’s brought to life by Kelly and Aodhan’s choice of venue, the stunning Ballymagarvey Village.
Armagh couple, Kelly and Aodhan first met ten years ago at a formal and quickly became best friends. Eight years on with their little son helping, Aodhan got down on one knee at the marina in Malahide and proposed.
With two years to plan their perfect day, Kelly took inspiration from bridal magazines and decided what she loved most before making any huge decisions. Her Enzoani lace wedding gown was purchased in Petticoat Lane Bridal Boutique and worked perfectly with her veil and Manolo Blahnik shoes.
Aodhan travelled in style to their ceremony at Tynan Chapel by tractor wearing a dashing navy suit complete with tweed waistcoat.
“All in all the day was perfect, I think if there are any hiccups on your wedding day you wouldn’t care as much as you think you might as you’re just in the best mood ever! Ava-Grace our flower girl stood on the brakes halfway up the aisle which had everyone laughing but we have that to play back on her when she is older!” said Kelly.
Our Highlights
“When I finally sat down beside Aodhan in front of the alter I realised how I’d missed him the night before and how content I was in that very moment. He also blew me away with his speech, he went above and beyond to make it special and made me very proud,” said Kelly.
“As cliché as it is, that first glimpse of Kelly gliding up the aisle beaming with pride with her Granda who she adores accompanying her just made me so happy, the moment had finally come that I’d imagined ever since I decided to ask her to marry me. A very happy moment looking back now was having the presence of my Uncle there who was battling cancer at the time and sadly passed away a short time later, myself and Kelly are humbly honoured he had braved his illness to share with us the precious moments of our day and we will cherish the photographs we were so lucky to have taken with all our family,” said Aodhan.
