True Love Tuesday: Jordana & Christopher

Teenage sweethearts, Jordana Price married her fiancé, Christopher Donnelly this past June surrounded by their closest family and friends. The occasion was a dreamy one with a little appearance from a well-known face, and incredible decor and styling at the Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel in Enniskillen.

The couple met at a nightclub in Cookstown in their early teens and started dating a few months later. Five years on Christopher planned a surprise proposal in Malmaison Hotel in Belfast. “I knew nothing about it and was totally shocked! Christopher had chosen the beautiful three stone diamond ring himself and arranged a rose petal turn down at the hotel,” said Jordana.

A self-proclaimed super planner, Jordana wasted no time getting their big day organised and together with the help of her mum, Joyce most of the plans were soon in place for their June wedding. The couple wanted a traditional wedding day and after looking at a few reception venues decided the Killyhevlin was the perfect location to hold their special day.

Jordana chose her favourite colour pink as the main accent colour which was carried throughout the bridesmaids dresses and flowers. Her own gown, which was purchased from Pronuptia Bridal in Belfast, featured a simple trumpet silhouette, bateau neckline and generous diamante embroidery detail across the statement neckline and throughout the back. “I love anything with sparkle and bling and after seeing the dress in a magazine, I knew it was the one for me!” added Jordana.

“Our day was fantastic from start to finish! My parents had a few surprises planned for us, which was really special. My mum designed, created, baked and decorated our incredible wedding cake. It was a magical sight, especially as I didn’t know anything about it. After the meal we were told there was a special guest but Christopher or I didn’t know who, just then May McFettridge came in! What a surprise that was, we’ve never laughed so much!” said Jordana.
