Phew! It really has been a busy week at Getting Married HQ, and it’s only Wednesday! We had two very exciting days on location shooting our bridal and bridesmaid inspiration shoots for you, with some amazingly talented people- we wish we could show you the prettiness, but we can’t! You’ll just have to wait until early next year, sorry!
To make room for a little sleep our usual True Love Tuesday has moved this week, but let us just say, it’s a beauty. Shot by L’derry photographer, Donal Doherty, Mary-Kate and Liams wedding was worth the wait.
With over 200 family and friends gathered for their summer wedding, Mary-Kate and Liam chose an elegant lace and pearl theme for their day. The very talented, Annette from Look Crafty transformed the reception suite at Redcastle Hotel with the stylish accessories, it really was off-the-scale pretty.
The sunny ceremony took place in St Aengus’ Church, Burt, the same church Mary-Kates parents were married in 35 years previous. The ceremony was followed by a stunning reception at the Redcastle Hotel, overlooking Donegal’s Lough Foyle. Thanks to the perfect sunny setting, a drinks reception was served on the dock overlooking the lough.
