NORTHERN IRELANDS AWARD WINNING INDEPENDENT TRAVEL AGENCY
L&J World Travel is based in the North West and was established by Denise Logue and Michaela Johnston in 2015. We used L&J as Denise is Logue and I am Johnston, also my kids are Luke & Jude and Denise’s are Lauren & Jake! Both girls had been working as travel agents in various sales and management roles since 1995 and have travelled extensively during that time – We bring masses of experience for potential customers. We are a team of 5! Joining the girls are Naomi and Sharell who each have 7 years experience and Lauren who deals with all the administration and tickets.
We have recently been awarded Jet2holidays Top Shop in Northern Ireland – an award we are hugely proud of – we have a huge repeat customer base who trust us with all their holiday needs year after year.
We realise that customer booking patterns have changed and in our busy lives we don’t always have time to sit and wait in traditional travel agencies so we work from an office that is open extended hours and most of our customers contact us by phone / email or via facebook.
We would like to share a little background on each of our travel consultants . . . .
DENISE LOGUE
I have worked as a travel agent since 1995, I remember the day I started and it is amazing how the travel industry has changed so much over the past 23 years. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively including places as far away as China, Sri Lanka & Russia ! My favourite part of the world is the Caribbean and Mexico. I spent 10 days in Jamaica on honeymoon this August – fabulous ! I would highly recommend ! One of my favourite holidays was this year in Mexico with over 30 friends and family where I got married.
Summer spot – Nerja, Costa Del Sol – The jewel in Spains crown, cobbled streets, fantastic authentic restaurants & glorious sunshine
Winter spot – Any Caribbean island! nothing like sipping on a cocktail on a white powdery beach when its minus temps at home
City – Venice – Haven’t been yet but we’ve been getting fab feedback from guests who have stopped off for a day on cruise visits – on my list for this year!
MICHAELA JOHNSTON
Taking my 1st flight at 10 years old I was hooked! everything about travel excited me from aeroplanes to airports, I knew from that day this was the industry for me. In 1994 I got my first travel job as a trainee with Thomas Cook and have never looked back! I have worked in various departments within travel and have had the opportunity to see places I could only dream of visiting. My most recent trip was to California and staying a few nights at Borrego Springs in the desert was a 1st for me!
Summer spot is Florida – thrilling rides at Universal, fantastic shopping at the malls, beautiful beaches at Clearwater – something for everyone!
Winter Spot – Dubai , luxury at its finest, perfect for winter sunseekers, every few months there are new attractions so you can go every year and not get bored!
City spot – Prague – Beautiful architecture, plenty of shopping from high street to local crafts at the Havel market, and of course with
a local beer at just over £1 its always a hit
NAOMI TOLAND

Being recently engaged to be married myself I’m on the lookout for the ultimate honeymoon – watch this space!
Summer spot is Mexico – without doubt having the most luxurious hotels and resorts at affordable prices.
Winter spot – Tenerife in particular the Hard Rock Hotel – amazing restaurants and perfect temperatures for winter sun!
City spot – Amsterdam – Love the laid back atmosphere, the museums, bars and anything goes attitude!
SHARELL MCCONOMY
Starting my travel career in 2011 as a trainee all I wanted to do was see the world and for me the best option to do this was by cruising. Nothing beats waking up every morning to a new destination , from idyllic Caribbean Islands to busy Mediterranean ports – I loved them all!
Summer spot is cruising in the Mediterranean as I love visiting as many places as possible!
Winter spot – I’d recommend taking to the slopes for winter, for value try Bulgaria – still one of the cheapest options for beginners.
City spot – Rome – Purely for the food! and can’t forget about the attractions such as the
