What services do you offer at White Label?
White Label offers a wide range of services including dry cleaning, laundry, ironing and alteration services. White Lable offers these services across their four outlets in Banbridge, Lisburn, Carrick and Antrim.
White Label dry cleans wedding gowns is there a special procedure to this that is different from dry cleaning regular garments?
This is a highly specialised procedure which White Label only dedicates to certain staff members. It is a very manual procedure and is extremely time consuming as any stains must be pre-treated, most notably the hem and necklines, which can be particularly soiled. This process may need to be repeated several times to remove as much of the staining as possible, prior to the gown being put through the full cleaning process. White Label has received a high level of positive feedback from brides across the province regarding the end result and is proud to provide excellent service in four locations.
How soon should a bride get her dress dry cleaned after her wedding?
The sooner the better: this should be done as soon as possible as any stains will set deeper into the fabric if left over a period of time.
How do you recommend storing a dry cleaned wedding gown – is that part of the service you offer?
White Label can offer an additional service of providing a specialist wedding box to store your wedding gown, which has acid free tissue paper enclosed. White Label will beautifully package the gown into the box which also contains a clear panel for you to view the finished gown.
If a bride is going to wear a wedding gown that has been dry cleaned and stored for several years, is it recommended the gown be dry cleaned again prior to wearing to refresh the garment?
This is not necessarily required, however, if any soiling remains after the original clean,White Label can attempt to remove any residual stains, though this can prove moreproblematic after a long period of time.
