True Lovely Tuesday: Zoe & Marc

Evening brides-to-be! We are so over this crazy weather, can’t it just be summer already?!

Tonight, we’re warming our hearts with Zoe and Marc’s beautiful late summer wedding at the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey. Omagh based photographer, Sarah Bryden was the whiz behind the lens, we are seriously loving all the style!

Zoe and Marc first met in 2008 at their local pub. Five years on Marc popped the question at the Villa Rose Hotel, which is where they chose to celebrate their wedding.

“We knew we wanted our day to be filled with plenty of love, laughter and great memories. I’m a very organised person so planning the day wasn’t difficult. I used Pinterest and Instagram to find ideas I liked and included them throughout the day in our own personalised way,” said Zoe.

“We didn’t have a strict theme as such, but when I was picking my bridesmaid dresses they had to be two shades of pink! Being a typical girly girl, this was the one thing I was so set on, I didn’t even want to see any bridesmaid dresses in the shop unless I could get them in two shades of pink!” she added.

Zoe wore a stunning gown from Creative Ideas in Cookstown, which featured a low back, lots of bling and was topped with a birdcage veil.

“The night before the wedding marc told me the Hummer had broken down! I though he was winding me up, he wasn’t but the day went perfectly, I was so calm. I think I was even calmer than my bridesmaids!” said Zoe.

“Walking up the aisle and seeing Marc cry as I approached him was a huge highlight. Also, my wee granny was very ill on the run up to my wedding day, all she wanted was to see me that day. She made me and Marc promise that we would call and see her for a photo that day!! Those photos are now memories I cherish, as my wedding day was the last day I got to see her- she sadly passed away a few days later on my first day of honeymoon. She did what she had said she would do, and just held in for that special day for me,” added Zoe.
