Good evening lovelies! Tonight we’re continuing to tell the love story of local couple, Zetta and Karol, whose story began in the current issue of Getting Married in Northern Ireland. We are simply in love with Zetta’s wedding gown and had to share more of how it came to be!
Zetta and Karol met 15 years ago and began dating. Karol chose an antique style marquise cut engagement ring and asked the important question in a beautiful restaurant in Rome.
Zetta immediately began planning their perfect day and turned to the Internet to help her source her suppliers. “I simply booked one thing at a time after that and was very relaxed about it, maybe too relaxed but it all worked out, thankfully!” said Zetta.
After visiting three bridal shops Zetta realised the dress she dreamt of wasn’t available so she decided to have her dress handmade. “I took a couple of different ideas from other dresses I liked put them together with my own ideas and I had my dress! I would advise anyone getting married to get their wedding dress made if they are looking for something a little different and something that is made to their measurements. My fabulous dressmaker, Ellen Lambert was wonderful and did such a brilliant job with both my dress and my bridesmaids,” said Zetta.
Zetta kept to a simple, fresh and elegant colour palette with navy and cream tails for Karol and ivory gypsophila bouquets.
“Our day went great, I’d do it all again tomorrow! The entire day was a highlight, it was great to be able to mingle and dance with our guests later on in the day.” added Zetta.
