True Love Tuesday: Lyndsey & David

Good evening and welcome back to the blog. Tonight on this glorious evening we’re sharing a very special wedding with a regal touch. Lyndsey and David were one of the very first couples to hold their wedding reception at Hillsborough Castle last summer, with photography by Ciaran O’Neill Photography.

With an August wedding approaching Lyndsey and David were keen to incorporate classic and elegant styling to match their breathtaking reception venue of Hillsborough Castle. Lyndsey wore a custom made gown by Suzanne Neville which featured a light as air illusion neckline that sparkled with gems and wore her hair softly draped back to complement the elegant look. Choosing a beautiful shade of pale blue her bridesmaid and three junior maids wore dresses designed by Belfast designer, Una Rodden which featured gem encrusted Peter Pan collars. Her adorable flower girls wore Nicki Macfarlane dresses along with floral crowns and carried dainty pomander bouquets.

Following their beautiful and heartfelt ceremony in Lisburn Free Presbyterian Church, the new Mr and Mrs Wylie, together with their guests travelled the short distance to Hillsborough Castle, where they were able to take in the stunning surroundings thanks to the glorious weather. House of Elliott Flowers had worked their magic on the venue and added bountiful blooms throughout which gave the setting a true romantic feeling. The heart shaped table plan was surrounded with a floral garland which incorporated roses and hydrangeas in beautiful shades of pink, blue and white.

“Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. It’s what we had dreamt of and much, much more,” said Lyndsey.

The end of their perfect day was marked with a spectacular firework display over the Castle. Lyndsey and David concluded their celebrations with a once in a lifetime honeymoon, they travelled to Venice, Maldives and Dubai before settling back at home.
