Proprietor Shannán O’Kane opened the doors to SJP Bridal in May 2022, having bought over the business of what was formerly Marie Thérèse Bridal. Rebranding the shop while maintaining its luxurious and welcoming interior, Shannán has also invested in new, cutting-edge fashion lines to add to the established styles and labels of the former business. Stocking some of the world’s leading
bridal designers, SJP Bridal offers brides timeless elegance and couture fashion from Millanova, Karen Willis Holmes, Riki Dalal and has introduced stunning ranges from Etoile and exclusively from PEN.LIV and Amsale. Shannán and her staff hand-pick beautiful gowns from dedicated designers to ensure a carefully curated selection of styles for every bride and every budget.
In addition to wedding dresses, SJP Bridal also offers a lovely range of bridesmaid fashion from Amsale and Haley Paige as well as accessories including jewellery and bespoke bridal veils, and made-to-measure headpieces for mothers of the bride and groom or wedding guests created by Shannán herself. With a background in fashion textiles, Shannán began her career in millinery before
realising her dream of owning her own bridal boutique, where she could share her love of fashion with brides while continuing to create her own line of headpieces and fascinators.
