Cat started The Wedding & Events Nanny business in 2018 when she saw a gap in the market. At that time Cat couldn’t find anyone else providing that service and thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to provide a supportive service to families doing something she absolutely loves; working with little ones. Cat subsequently had three more children so put the business on the back burner for a little while but returned at the end of March this year and has since put her heart and soul into the business, Cat said “I am very proud of where I am and the business I have built”. Since returning from maternity leave Cat has worked at over 50 weddings to date and won 4 wedding awards!

I was working with a little one with additional needs whose parents were initially apprehensive of how the day would go, especially during the ceremony. I worked closely with the mummy throughout the booking process, and on the day, to ensure that her little one was not only safe and happy but still an integral part of the day. As a result of how happy and content their little one was with me, the bride and groom were able to have the relaxed ceremony they never thought possible. To know I make such a positive difference to my clients means the absolute world to me.”!
