Even if you have just the tiniest little idea of going for a coloured wedding gown, we say have a look at these five beauties and soon your mind will be made up! We’re all for a great white or ivory bridal gown but we salute brides who are adventurous enough to step away from tradition and bend the bridal rules.
Tip 1: Have your groom wear a matching colour somewhere on his outfit – tie or pocket square work well- this way you’re coloured dress will tie in with his look and be coherent.
Tip 2: Keep your day consistent and use your colour or pattern in other areas of the day- subtly of course!
Tip 3: Wear your coloured gown with pride and attitude! Nothing is more flattering that a bride happy and content in her own skin – and dress!
Tip 4: Choose your bridesmaids dresses carefully. Check once and twice, and probably a third time to make sure the colour works perfectly with your statement gown.
