Famous for their blue and white wares, Burleigh have launched a new, pared back colour – Dove Grey. Pitch perfect for contemporary living, Burleigh have reimagined their classic ‘Calico’, ‘Felicity’ and ‘Pantry’ patterns in a new and timeless shade.
Burleigh’s creative director, Steven Moore, well known from TV’s The Antiques Roadshow, said: “We are delighted to be launching three of our most iconic patterns, in a new colour: Dove Grey. Because they are decorated by hand using prints taken from hand engraved copper plates, they have a subtlety and depth which cannot be reproduced by the mechanical methods used by other potteries. The new Dove Grey colour gives an almost ‘dappled’ look to the pattern, emphasising its handmade status.”
