Established in 1995, Ashburn Image began trading as a make-up artist studio and hair salon. in 1998 founder rosemary wright moved the salon to its current location in Eglinton, Londonderry.
These premises were designed from scratch by Rosemary Wright herself who, after being in the beauty industry for so many years knew exactly what she wanted for her designer salon. On 22nd of August 2017 after eight hours of incessant rainfall and what seemed like a scene from a scary movie – Ashburn Image (and the whole village of Eglinton) was flooded and everything inside was destroyed including a large amount of stock. In March 2018, after six challenging months of wrangling with the insurance company, Ashburn Image began a full structural and cosmetic renovation. Flood waters had destroyed everything in the salon, including furniture, displays, beauty equipment and several thousand pounds worth of stock. Despite the trials and tribulations, Ashburn Image stayed true to its customers, keeping its salon doors open throughout it all. Grateful to their customers for their goodnatured patience, Ashburn Image is proud to be up and running once again in its stylishly renovated premises.
