MEET THE EXPERTS WHO CREATED THE FRONT COVER LOOK
MAKEUP
For my makeup I wanted Hollywood classic glam. This makeup is my most requested glam with brides. I prepped the skin with Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Skin Base and for my eyes I used the Iconic Bronze Cut Crease Queens eyeshadow palette and base – a staple in my kit. The key products for this look would have to be the NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Liquid Blush wand in shade Pinkgasm, and for lips I used MRS Glam Chocolate Kiss Lip Liner and Peachy Queen lipstick. My lashes for the day were my own brand Just Gemini style Pearl, and to keep the makeup on all day I used Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray.

PHOTOGRAPHER
Bishop’s Gate Hotel is one of my fave hotels in the city, and not just because the food is delicious! There are so many beautiful little nooks around the building that were perfect for this bridal shoot, and with the choice of dressesfrom (the salon) I knew we’d be able to create a stunning collection of images! This shoot was so much fun, and in many ways similar to a real wedding. There was a stunning bride, plenty of banter from the salon staff and hair and makeup artists, a.k.a the bridal party, and, in lieu of a handsome groom, there was a handsome photographer! Ensuring everyone enjoys being photographed is integral to how I work, it makes everything so much easier and it shows in all of my work that the couples are all enjoying themselves.

HAIR
Firstly, I sprayed Olivia’s hair with heat protector to ensure to have ultimate shine with the style. I then prepped her root areas with texturising powder and then curled the rest of her hair with straighteners and pinned as I was going to let it set, pinning the front with heated rollers. I find when doing an upstyle this is essential as the curl follows through the style. When I got the the top, the bottom was set enough to let me unpin and begin the style, using the lower half of the head as a base for the upstyle, I followed this through and ensured it was a soft and elegant style. This is what so many brides want now as it if effortless but is still so glam! And if required, can be taken down in the evening to give a different look!
